This week in STEM club the boys and girls were challenged to design and build a boat. They needed to consider the materials which they would use and decide whether or not they would float when placed in the water. We planned our ideas, collected our materials and began to build in our teams. We then made predictions about each boat and discussed their construction. We will test them next week to see if our predictions were right and make any necessary changes to our creations. A great afternoon with lots of problem solving and cross curricular skills developed whilst everyone was engaged and had fun.
