This year’s pumpkin patch event at St Malachy’s Primary school was nothing short of spectacular! With Autumn rain and crisp October air setting the scene, families from across the community came out despite the rain to celebrate this season together - and what a turn out it was.
The school grounds were buzzing with excitement as hundreds of visitors arrived turning our humble pumpkin patch into a vibrant hub of laughter, screams and cheers. From toddlers toddling through hay bales to grandparents sipping hot chocolate and enjoying pumpkin soup in the dinner hall.
Beyond the fun, the event has raised significant exposure of our thriving school as well as funds for future events and resources. Here’s to making this an annual tradition and getting bigger and better every year. The sense of togetherness was palpable- a true testament to the strength and heart of our school in our local community.
To everyone who helped organise our incredible Pumpkin Patch event- thank you from the bottom our our hearts. To our fantastic staff and PTA, Anita Magee for her scaring skills and Ben Carvill for the music, to the bakers and family members who helped set up and tidy up after the event.
