The first of the two Primary 1 induction mornings was a great success this morning. The children settled in wonderfully and quickly became comfortable in their new surroundings. It was lovely to see how confidently they joined in and how naturally they began interacting with the current Primary 1 pupils, forming early friendships and getting a real feel for school life in St Malachy’s.
Although the weather meant we couldn’t enjoy time outdoors, the children still had a fantastic morning. They enthusiastically took part in a range of fun indoor games, listened carefully to stories, and enjoyed sharing snack time together, chatting and getting to know one another. Their positive attitudes and excitement were clear throughout the session.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming them back for their second induction morning next Thursday.
