Outdoor play area
The children in Primary 1&2 are incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful grassy outdoor play area right outside the classroom. It has become an extension of their learning space, giving them the freedom to run, climb, balance and move in ways that help develop their gross motor skills. They’ve been using their imagination and creativity as they explore the different resources available outside — turning simple objects into games, challenges and shared adventures.
One of the highlights this week has been their fascination with the rainwater that collected over the last few days. They’ve been investigating puddles, containers and natural dips in the ground, comparing how much water gathered and talking about why it happens. This curiosity has sparked great conversations, teamwork and plenty of joyful outdoor learning.
