This week P6/7 have been developing their understanding of perimeter and today we had the task of measuring the perimeter of different spaces around our school. We estimated first and choose the best equipment for each space. For the tables we choose metre sticks and measuring tapes however for the pitch we thought the trundle wheel was the best option. We measured and explored the importance of accuracy when discussing our results. It was a great learning experience and the fresh air and sunshine was an added bonus 🌟🌞
