Today Primary 1/2 teamed up with the Primary 6/7 class for an outdoor learning sessions using all our loose parts resources. Mrs McVeigh’s class are learning about People who help us. This was a perfect example of team work and the older pupils working together and helping the Primary 1/2 pupils in building dens. The boys and girls had to get into teams, plan their dens, choose the correct materials and a good location to build their dens. The session involved a lot of planning, evaluating, changing and adapting ideas, building, engineering and negotiating. The results were excellent and all correctly fitted the brief. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed using the outdoor space, working with each other and the windy conditions to make all very unique dens. A super well done to all involved and especially in the returning of all the loose parts resources to their correct places in the store. 👷👷♀️👷👷♀️🛖🛖🛖
