This week was our final session of the year with our friends in King’s Castle. We have LOVED our Wednesday mornings this year!
One of the most valuable lessons children can learn is the importance of connection, kindness, and community—and there is no better way to do this than through intergenerational activities.
These visits and activities offer so much more than a fun day out. Our pupils gain insight, wisdom, and appreciation for older generations, while residents enjoy companionship, engagement, and the joy of watching young people learn and grow.
From conversations and crafts to celebrations and shared experiences, these moments create lasting memories and meaningful friendships that benefit everyone involved.
