Games club

14th May 2026

The boys and girls had great fun today enjoying a variety of board and card games together. The children were fully engaged as they played draughts, Guess Who, Jenga and Frustration, taking turns, following rules, and showing great sportsmanship throughout. There was lots of laughter and excitement, especially as the Jenga tower became more and more wobbly and the races in Frustration got competitive.

The card games, including Jack Change It and Cheat, were very popular and encouraged the children to think strategically, concentrate, and interact positively with their peers. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, with pupils supporting one another, celebrating successes, and learning how to cope with winning and losing.

Overall, Games Club provided a fun and social end to the day, helping children to build confidence, teamwork, and communication skills while simply enjoying playing together. We topped it off with the last 15 minutes playing games on the grass area in the sun.
