Eco club in the community
This week at Eco Club was all about giving back to the Kilclief community, and the children threw themselves into it with real enthusiasm.
They began by painting bright, colourful butterflies for display — a creative way to celebrate nature and add a splash of joy for everyone who visits the area. With their artwork complete, they headed out to their first hands‑on task: planting meadow seeds in the Kilclief community garden. It’s the kind of slow, thoughtful work that will bloom into something beautiful for everyone to enjoy in the months ahead.
Not long after, they continued their community journey at Glebe House. There, the children planted runner beans and sunflower seeds in the raised beds, helping to grow food and flowers that will benefit the whole community.
Altogether, it was a day of creativity, teamwork, and genuine care for their local environment — a lovely example of young people giving their time and energy to make Kilclief an even brighter place.
