This week as part of our persuasive writing genre, the boys and girls in P6/7 have been planning and writing their own balanced arguments on a range of topics. There was a pupil-led element to our learning as the children were able to choose a topic which interested them including keeping animals in zoos and seaworlds as tourist attractions, schools having 3 day weekends, should children have homework and should school uniforms be compulsory. The children planned the for/against arguments with their partner and through of both sides of the argument before writing their own persuasive pieces. Well done boys and girls 🌟🌟
